01 / THE TRANSITION

The thesis behind the infographic

The executive summary brings together premium EV access, recurring mobility, charging, partners, and member services. Its argument is that these activities can support one another. The full page explains what must be true for that argument to work.

Membership is a customer relationship. It does not automatically provide trip demand, remove operating requirements, or make vehicle costs disappear. The value proposition must explain which benefits a member receives and why they will renew.

02 / THE TRANSITION

The transition creates a coordination need

Customers may want EV access without owning a vehicle. Property owners may want a managed charging operation. Employers and venues may want dependable transport options. These are different buyers with different reasons to pay.

The structural opening is the time it takes for vehicles, sites, power, and customer services to align. A capable operator can reduce that friction. The opportunity should be defined as a set of services with actual customers rather than a share of a large market estimate.

03 / THE TRANSITION

Build the revenue model in layers

Identify membership revenue, rental revenue, seat-based transport revenue, charging revenue, and partner fees individually. Then assign the vehicle, staffing, energy, transaction, site, insurance, and financing costs required to earn each line.

A benefit bundled into membership should not also be counted as a separate sale unless the member pays separately. A shared vehicle used for errands cannot be simultaneously booked for a rental. Capacity has a time dimension as well as a seat dimension.

04 / THE TRANSITION

Why the thesis can remain relevant

Repeat trips and useful locations can remain valuable as vehicle products change. This gives the model a reason to focus on service quality, partner relationships, and operational flexibility. It is the basis for our claim of a continuing opportunity.

The claim is conditional. Retention, paid utilization, working capital, and net contribution must support it. A large membership list with low usage, or high usage at a loss, would not plan the business.

05 / THE TRANSITION

The next two to four years

By 2028, establish fleet operations, signed host arrangements, and a consistent operating record. By 2030, expand the services with demonstrated economics and remove or redesign the ones that fail the test.

The immediate action is to make one small opportunity concrete: one host, one customer group, one defined service, and one accountable operating budget. An urgent market thesis is useful only when it produces disciplined decisions.
